about
I wrote this song after a break up in early 2019 before recording my album. It's raw and sappy and sentimental and was probably the start of me confronting my own mental health without really realizing it. This song may see the light of day down the track in a different iteration but for now this raw demo with me, my old Gibson, some nice microphones and my mentor and friend Andrew Beck at the desk will do just nicely. This song is about what it says. Holding on to hope no matter how little there may be visible to you in your time of need. Just trying to remind yourself that it's always there and can be accessed somehow, however strong or weak you may feel.
